The Daytona Beach International Festival (DBIF), the largest international and orchestral festival in Florida, will honor Hollywood conductor, composer and pianist Lalo Schifrin with its first-ever PALM Award. DBIF created the annual award program to recognize an individual or group for outstanding Professional Artistic Lifetime Merit (PALM). Schifrin will be presented the PALM Award on the evening of Thursday, April 30, during the London Symphony Orchestra Classical III concert, which Schifrin will be conducting.
