Lalo Schifrin, the Grammy-winning composer of “Mission: Impossible,” composer of film scores including “Cool Hand Luke,” “Dirty Harry” and “Bullitt,” and recipient of an honorary Academy Award, died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Thursday morning, June 26, of complications from pneumonia. He was 93.
